        Mater Dolorosa School is a Preschool through Grade 8 Catholic School located along the banks of the Connecticut River in Holyoke, Massachusetts.  In September of 2005 Mater Dolorosa received accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

        Following the guidelines established by the Springfield Diocese, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and Massachusetts frameworks for each subject area, we strive to help all students develop to their full potential spiritually, academically and socially.  Along with our strong academic curriculum, we provide our students with a Catholic religious education, cultural diversity and acceptance, and involvement in community service.
