Mater Dolorosa School is a member of the Catholic Youth Organization Basketball
League of Western MA. The mission and direction of the
CYO
Basketball League is to join young people together in the spirit of
athletics and competition while promoting good sportsmanship.
We currently have both girls and boys teams for Grades 3 - 8. Games are held in our own gym as well as throughout the region.
All levels of players are encouraged to participate and parents encouraged to
volunteer. Registration is held in October and notices are sent home
through the school.

TEAMS ON A SUCCESSFULL YEAR! TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT OUR TEAMS ACCOMPLISHED
THIS SEASON.
3 - 4 Girls came in 2nd in the Battle of Holyoke at
Our Lady of Guadalupe.
3 - 4 Boys won a pre-season tournament at Our Lad
of the Rosary.
5 - 6 Girls won their Division Championship Game
and won 2nd in the Bob Menard Tournament.
5 - 6 Boys entered into the Our Lady of Guadalupe
and St. Thomas Tournament and did very well.
7 - 8 Girls won 1st place in the Bob Menard
Tournament and wond their Division Championship Game.
7 - 8 Boys #1 won their Championship Game and went
undefeated with a 21-0 record.
7 - 8 Boys #2 had a 50/50 season and did very well
with the limited number of players on the team.
